Calvin | Newborn | Fresh 48 Session

What could be more exciting for parents than the day they bring a little one into the world? It’s such a huge milestone, that a recent trend in photography has started to take off! Many parents are now realizing the importance of having a photographer present at their place of birth, to capture the new bonding and connecting moments, as a new baby is welcomed into the family. This session is known as a “Fresh 48” session. It is the perfect opportunity for a growing family to capture the warmth and love a newborn brings while still in the hospital, within the first 48 hours after birth.

Last month, L&L Photography held a contest for one FREE Fresh 48 session. Our lucky momma-to-be winner, Amanda, was already a mom of 2. She and her husband loved this idea as a way to capture their third baby joining the family! We received an exciting email from Amanda early Friday morning, that she was in the hospital preparing for her baby’s arrival! The next day, we had the privilege of meeting everyone and photographing this happy new family of FIVE!

We captured Baby Calvin's family as they enjoyed him, sharing lots of cuddles and precious introductions. Big Brother and Sister were so proud of their new Baby Brother. Looking through these images, you can see how loved Calvin will be throughout his life! We loved being a part of photographing each moment and detail right down to his adorable little fingers, toes, and full head of dark hair.
